programmet
-Når
billedet får hovedrollen,
et arrangement som fokuserer
på korte visuelt enestående dokumentar- og
eksperimentalfilm, som viser hvor
stærkt billedet kan tale, når det bare får lov.
Her
er ordet for en gang skyld underordnet det visuelle udtryk – ja det er
faktisk helt fraværende - og det får filmene til at
fremstår overraskende stærke.
Kenneth
Sorento er uddannet fotograf
fra Film & TV-Produktionsuddannelsen. Arbejder som fotograf og
tilrettelægger på dokumentar- og kortfilm. Initiativtager
til netværket som udviklede sig til Dokumentargruppen MOMENT.
Kenneth vandt 2 MCA-Awards 2008: Bedste Fotograf og Sølv i
undervisningskategorien for filmen ”Pachamama”.

SYNOPSIS
A lyrical portrayal of mankind's hopes and expectations. It is an
existential investigation into introvert conditions, through a poetic
and experimentally open form. In a simple progression from birth to
death, opportunities arise for each viewer's personal identification
and emotion.

SYNOPSIS
Kassandra Wellendorf's Invisible
is not a scientific film, but working
between the documentary and the poetic it can be seen as the camera's
magnifying view of various social mechanisms or systems which would
otherwise seem invisible.
Invisible exposes the choreography
of waiting. How do people behave when they are waiting for a bus? How
are their thoughts and feelings reflected in their movements and facial
expressions? |

SYNOPSIS
"Skift"
is a lyrical film about travelling. It is about the experience of being
on the way to something new, while at the same time there is a movement
away from something. The film is about the loneliness brought about by
feelings of isolation.
Tali Rázga: Born 1975,
Tel Aviv. Modern dancer and choreographer, educated at Fontys
Dansacademie in Holland, 2001. Has received a bursary from the Danish
Actors' Association in order to continue her work with dance film. |

ALT I ALT (All In All) (4 min)

SYNOPSIS
As simple a set up as can be: a man dives from a diving board. And yet
through the use of rhythmic cuts, edits, sounds, and constantly
changing perspectives, this video builds an almost cubist refraction of
the simple act of diving into a pool of water.

thriller. A boy lies in a bathtub, holding his breath. He is trying to

SYNOPSIS
The film
is about a society where everybody can fly, but no one does it. By
wearing gravity boots they are bolted to the ground. However one day
one man has had enough, tears off his boots and litteraly takes off.
"Sniffer"
is Bobbie Peers' debutfilm and recieved the Palme d'Or in the category
of best short film at the Cannes festival . It is the first
Norwegian film to recieve a Palme d'Or. The film had also recieved the
Golden Pram at the Zagreb Film
Festival in the category of best short film 2006.

SYNOPSIS
Seks
musikere deltager i et musikalsk angreb på en lejlighed. På
ting som hundeskål, tandbørste, tøfler og mikroovn
giver de en koncert i fire dele: Køkken, soveværelse,
badeværelse og dagligstue.
Bedst nordisk film ved Nordic Panorama 2001, Bedst film ved Capalbio
Film Festival 2001 og Bedste film ved Festival Internacional de Cine
del Uruguay 2003. Ved Filmfestivalen i Cannes 2001 nomeret til Bedste
kortfilm. Filmen vand desuden en Guldbagge (Svenska Filminstitutet)
2001 for Bedste kortfilm.
