program of Greek shorts that deal with the familiar and the foreign.
Adoption and rejection within the phobia of a dead end.
There will be open for discussion with director Lea Binzer and
Panagiotis Fafoutis, director of Loulou´s Snails after the films.
After the film screening it
will be served a glass of Greek wine for
the audience.

passport, currently working
in Greece with film.

SYNOPSIS
Achilleas and Elissavet live in the same
village but in different worlds. They are both social outcasts but for
different reasons. They will meet so as to get as much as they can from
each other.
In other circumstances, they may have fallen in love.

Eight-year-old
Lulu gathers snails in the park where she goes every day
with her mother. Her obsession with the snails leads her to develop a
special relationship with a strange foreigner who haunts the park.

Lea
Binzer Artist/Producer/Film Director
Born in 1979 in Denmark by Danish father and Greek mother, she grew up
in Greece. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Aristotle
University, Thessaloniki and Utrecht Fine Arts Academy, specialized in
Video Art. She currently lives and works in Santorini, Greece, where
she established studio crocus. www.studiocrocus.com

Bujar
Alimani
He was born in Patos, Albania in 1969. He studied Painting and Stage
Direction at the Academy of Fine Arts of Tirana. In 1992 he immigrated
to Greece. He worked as an assistant director on several Greek films.
He lives and works in Athens. In 2002, he finished his first short
film, The Kennel, which took part in many national and international
film festivals. The film won the Best Balkan Film

Award at the National Short FF in Drama, the 2nd Award at the Auburn
IFF in Sydney, and the Best Albanian Film Award at the Tirana IFF in
2003. In 2006 he made his second short film, Gas, which was screened at
many film festivals worldwide and won numerous awards. In 2007 he
finished his third short film, The Compass, which participated in many
film festivals and won three awards. |

STRATOULA
THEODORATOU
Born in Munich, studied film direction at Stavrakos Film School in
Athens and at FAMU Academy in Prague, on a scholarship from the Greek
Film Center. She works in the field of film and television productions.

Fafoutis
Born in
Patras, he studied law and film directing. He lives in Athens and works
in films and television.
