Tonight’s theme is love. We will show two short films. “Ana y Manuel”, directed by Manuel Calvo (E) in which Elena Anaya (“Sex and Lucia”) plays the leading part. Hereafter we will show “Purpose of Visit”, Anna Vesterholt’s final work from the Russian film school.

Anne-Grethe Bjarup Riis is the principal female character in the story about Lisa who falls in love with a Russian bandmaster, Aleksander Kirilov, and goes to Moscow to win his heart. Thomas Papateros won the price for best short film editing at the festival WorldFest Houston in 2004 for “Purpose of Visit”.   
                         
After a short break it is our pleasure and honour to welcome the authors Pia Juul and Naja Marie Aidt who will be reading aloud from their publications. At the end the audience can ask questions to the two authors and to the director of the night, Anna Vesterholt.
