The
evening was opened by four short films that in different ways use
humour to tell stories. "Expreso nocturno" (Spain) by Imanol Ortiz
López, "State of the Union" (USA) by Bryan Boyce, "Lille Mand"
(DK) by Esben Tønnesen, "Handicap" (F) by Lewis-Martin Soucy.
After the films the author Niels Hav read extracts from some of his
publications. Thereafter the authors participated in a debate with
Esben Tønnesen, Rasmus Valentin and Carsten Søsted
(respectively director and scriptwriter of the short film "Lille mand")
about the importance of humour in their artistic work. The audience had
the chance to ask questions.
